A Bid Change would occur when there is a change in Project scope or requirements.
A Revised Bid can be greater than or less than the Original Bid. For example, if the Employer decides to remove requirements from what was originally explained in the posted project, the Revised Bid might be less than the Original Bid. On the other hand, if the Employer were to change requirements that increased project scope, the Revised Bid might be greater than the Original Bid.
Other related details:
- Only the Developer may initiate a Bid Change.
- Only the Employer may approve a Bid Change.
- The Employer can fund the project up to the amount of the Original Bid OR, if there is a Revised Bid, up to the amount of the Revised Bid.
