Dev: How does the 'Request Payment' button work?

The Developer uses the "Request Payment" button within a Workroom to initiate sending a notification request to the Employer to "Pay Developer" (first image below). After the Developer clicks "Confirm Request Payment" button (second image below), the Workroom Status is immediately moved to "Payment to Developer Pending" (third image below).

The "Request Payment" button is used by the Developer when the Project work related to the amount of Funds in Escrow is finished.

Once the Employer reviews and accepts the work done by the Developer, the Employer will then click 'Pay Developer' to pay the Funds in Escrow to the Developer's Payment Account.  See Emp: How does the 'Pay Developer' button work? for more details.
